Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CCFrederick mobile application ("the App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

The App is provided for the benefit of church members, guests, and volunteers.
You may not use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App.

2. User Accounts

Some features require you to register an account using your name and email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it updated.

3. Content Ownership and Usage

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App (e.g., messages, prayer requests).
By submitting content, you grant Center Church Frederick a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the context of the App.
You may not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.

4. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and use your data.

5. Modifications to the App

We may update or modify the App at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable if any part of the App is unavailable at any time.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Center Church Frederick is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Center Church Frederick from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Age Restrictions

The App is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. Children under 13 may only use the App through parent or guardian supervision and profile creation. If we become aware of unauthorized use by a minor, we may take steps to remove their account or content.

12. Community and User Content

We are not responsible for content posted by users in groups, messages, or prayer requests. While we may moderate reported content, we do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or safety of user-generated material.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. When we do, we will post the updated version in the App. Continued use of the App after any updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

4. Privacidad

11. Restricciones de Edad

La App está destinada para el uso de personas mayores de 13 años. Los niños menores de 13 años solo pueden usar la App a través de la supervisión de un padre o tutor y la creación de un perfil. Si nos damos cuenta de un uso no autorizado por parte de un menor, podemos tomar medidas para eliminar su cuenta o contenido.

No somos responsables del contenido publicado por los usuarios en grupos, mensajes o peticiones de oración. Si bien podemos moderar el contenido reportado, no garantizamos la exactitud, idoneidad o seguridad del material generado por el usuario.

13. Actualizaciones de estos Términos

Podemos actualizar estos Términos ocasionalmente para reflejar cambios en la App o requisitos legales. Cuando lo hagamos, publicaremos la versión actualizada en la App. El uso continuo de la App después de cualquier actualización constituye la aceptación de los nuevos Términos.
